Phi Beta Kappa and University Scholars Endowed International Scholarship
Phi Beta Kappa and University Scholars Endowed International Scholarship, also called the "Cresson Scholarship," was established in honor of Dr. Bruce C. Cresson, Professor of Religion and Director of International Programs. Dr. Cresson served as the first president of Baylor's Phi Beta Kappa chapter and as the founding director of University Scholars, and at Baylor.
This endowed scholarship provides funding for the recipient to participate in study abroad. The Cresson Scholarship Committee selects a University Scholar annually based on the student’s high academic achievement and broad academic interests.
Dr. Cresson participated in Baylor’s Oral History project. To view the transcript of the interview, click here.
